Properly organizing your elements is half the work in Sketchup - I just had to apply materials a million times because I didn't follow all the steps Justin provided here. As always, outstanding tutorial! Feeling more and more confident with using the program with every video from you I watch

Can I use the lines from floor plan? I have dwg file and I can select lines but if use push pull tool it's not allowed me to fill colors between lines and not to use pull push tool. And Can I reduce the opacity of my floor pan so I can easily draw an outline above it

For users with lots of etensions installed, I would love to see something similar to this that would, instead of putting all a given extension's icons in the icon bar, would instead put a single icon which, when selected, would actually display a drop-down of all that extension's icons. THAT would massively clean up the icon bar and stop the unmanageable clutter of having all the icons all over the top of the screen.

why join push and pull is not working in my sketchup and it say licences expired plea help me i need this extension

I do love the PLugin States as part of Sketchufication, but It would be so much better if your enabled plugins were stored with your SketchUp Model!

Sketchup desperatly needs an ui update about plugin management. Like stacking plugins in one icon dropping down with a menu. Its totally a mess.

From my own experience (SU 2022), if you use like this Sketchucation Manager you have to expect many errors, and it is also very hard to make the connection that the errors are because of Sketchucation, otherwise, if you use it without managing your plugins with it everything is fine. That is 100% true for a few versions back, but since I was afraid to try with other versions. The native Extensions Manager saves the states of your extensions ONLY if you hit apply after every check (enable or disable), it took me some years to see that; except for extensions with .rbs extension - those can not be managed at all.

Cool tool. I will be using this to help customers visualize projects better. The AI has a bit of randomness but that can always inspire an idea.

Used to love sketchup. But with it's 200 per year subscription fee ... for a casual user is crazy ... and the free version does not use plugin's or extensions that I can see.

Great presentation Justin. Very easy to understand for a beginner. Unfortunately the Free Version is not as flexible as it was when this UA-cam was created. Editing of materials is no longer available in the free version.

I hate using too many software for a single project since its quite hard to coordinate with the other consultant , I would prefer blender more than sketchup since theres no topology in skp at all and its quite annoying to make complex shape or even make it compatible since sketchup is not build for it . However theres tons of existing plugins such as subdivision modelling . However , still , I have done my research and clock in time to make opera house in sketchup and blender , it took 80% faster in blender rather than sketchup since theres already a modifier in blender to handle those complex shapes. Its not that sketchup is bad but its too slow.

The Sequence media type also gives more control for basic flythrough animations since you can set a specific key time for your frame, allowing you to have fast transitions and slow transitions where you want them.
